About

Sarah Lamptey is a passionate and ambitious entertainment and factual presenter, DJ, writer and social activist, currently presenting VTs for Morning Live on BBC One.

She has created own music series, written for publications such as Grazia, the Metro Online and LBC and DJed across the country, from members clubs to Glastonbury.

In 2018, Sarah began her project, ShowerBox, bringing free showers to enhance the lives of those facing homelessness in London. Now a charity, ShowerBox is about to launch in Birmingham, and Sarah was awarded an MBE for this work last year.

Sarah also started a wonderful charity called showerbox, providing shower space for street people and hidden homeless in London. Great work Sarah!
