Thank you for contacting us about the driver of your Bakerloo line train recently.

We understand the importance of good communications, and our Train Operators (drivers) are carefully trained in the use of the public address system. It is always a pleasure to receive letters like yours which prove that friendly and articulate communication is noticed and appreciated by passengers.

I have forwarded your comments to a Train Manager for the Bakerloo line who will pass them on to the driver, who we believe is Anne O’Grady.

You might be interested to know that last year this particular driver won a Platinum Award (London Underground’s highest staff award) for “putting customers first”.
