2018 so far…
… Has flown by. Everyone says that, of course! It’s September, and so far it has been a year of working for Melobee, the Swedish start up, delivering workshops at schools, publishing my article on the massive impact that showers would have on the lives of those who sleep rough and as a result, starting my own campaign to bring free showers to London. It’s an exciting, hectic time. Downtime really comes into its own. Right now, I write this from Perugia, Italy, in a lovely blend of work and play. And PIZZA!
Life and The Times
The 23rd April (2015) saw me frantically trying to find The Times newspaper from the day before . The paper went with a photo of myself and Ella Eyre for their article on the Women of The World festival and the Southbank Centre’s wonderful record of female employment, initiated by artistic director, Jude Kelly. I hosted a night during the festival; the Southbank Centre partnered with Mobo to bring emerging and established female talents to the stage.
I Got Broadcasted!
Delighted to have been featured in Broadcast on 17th April 2015! I chat about my most overused words (trying to not say “incredible” in an interview should probably have been my new year’s resolution), who I’d be on Stars in Their Eyes and what I’d do with plenty of cash. Find the piece on the Articles tab!
